As a result of years of hard work focussed on quality, a few French fish farmers have obtained quality labels and certifications. Les Poissons de Tamaris supply organically certified Sea Bass, Sea Bream, Stoned Bass and various salmonids labelled AB or Naturland.
The Label Rouge guarantees that a product shows higher quality standards than any other usual product. For this label, fish has to fulfil great organoleptic standards and serious control is done on fat content. It guarantees a sharp traceability, and a use by date has to appear on each fish box.

This certification guarantees that the fish was farmed in pure and clean water, that no GMO’s are involved neither in the feed nor in the fish. Feed used is made of wild fish caught under quotas and organic cereals. Also the fish density in the farm is lower than in traditional farming and life cycle is longer, according to the natural cycle of the fish in the wild. Three main objectives for this certification: Environment respect, animal respect and consumer safety guarantee.
